Transforming a garden doesn’t have to mean taking out a second mortgage for hard landscaping. Creating new borders and careful planting schemes can be just as impactful, dramatic, and beautiful – as well as more affordable, accessible, and sensitive to the environment.

I am based in Henley on Thames but happy to travel up to 15 miles radius for design work. Please look at the photos in the albums above for some examples of my work.

My specialty is border design: revitalising established borders and creating new ones from scratch. This ‘soft’ landscaping might include a formal CAD plan & mood board, followed by the purchasing, planting out, nurturing on of a new scheme. Or I might only need to turn an area around: improve the soil, divide & move what’s already there, & infill with new plants. Most importantly, though, is my collaboration with my lovely clients over copious amounts of coffee to come up with that perfect layout to suit taste and budget. From herbaceous borders to Mediterranean gravel gardens, via veg plots and floral cutting patches in between, I love jumping into it all!

My diary for regular garden maintenance is pretty busy but some space has become available. I typically focus on restorative projects in larger, more mature gardens.
