Welcome! I’m Helena, a maintenance gardener and horticultural student local to SE12, serving surrounding areas in southeast London.

My passion is for gardens that encourage wildlife and are full of colour and structure throughout the seasons. I follow eco-friendly approaches and opt to use hand tools over power tools.

Please find below the services I offer:

– General garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, mulching, feeding, path clearing, division of perennials, planting, transplanting, potted plant care, border edging, etc.

– Fruit and vegetable plant care, including pruning, staking, training, propagating from seed, pricking out, feeding, harvesting.

– Houseplant care, including repotting, pruning, feeding, irrigation, propagating

– Planting advice, to include site analysis and soil testing (priced per job).

– Lawn mowing (using client’s mower)

– Fence/shed painting (priced per job).

Please note I CANNOT offer the following services:

– Tree surgery
– Garden waste removal (client must have a council garden waste bin and/or compost bin/dead hedge (I can advise on composting)

To keep my costs and carbon footprint down, I try to get to my clients by public transport or foot where possible – if this is the case I may ask to use some of your larger tools, such as spade/fork.

Please note I ask for a minimum of 2 hours per job; if your garden is large and/or requires significant maintenance, I may suggest a longer session per visit. I can offer a discount for half or full day rates for regular customers.
