I gained my Trade certificate(City & Guilds equivalent) in Parks & Gardens almost 20 years ago & half a world away. Since then I have been in & out of the industry but horticulture has always played an important role in my life. In recent years I have been the proud lessee of an allotment here in South London, where I have enjoyed growing things that will just not grow in Australia!
I love to use organic & sustainable methods, working with nature as much as possible. I am massive proponent of compost heaps & mulching, reducing both garden waste & garden labour.
I have studied design, and can help with plant selection & sourcing, please see the case study attached of a garden design I completed for a client who was struggling with grief, and how we incorporated healing & memorial into the design.
I am currently set up for small garden works (hand tools only) but have many years experience with petrol & electric garden equipment (everything except chainsaws).
I am based in Streatham and am happy to travel in South London & potentially further afield via public transport.
